What If We Begin Protesting the MSM Outlets?
Would they be bold enough to ignore the thousands outside their television studios demanding that they ask important questions of the government?

A little indirect. But, as with Cindy Sheehan, the MSM has the access to ask the questions, Cindy does not.

Cannot we create a logistical nightmare for ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, Fox, and all the other major outlets?

The alternative is being stuck in a "free speech zone", caged up like animals, blocks away from our elected representatives.

Do you really believe an Administration which filters out all but true believers at any public venue, will ever grant the rest of us an audience?

This is worth a try.

1. Think strategically... learn a lesson from Cindy...
She went - perhaps unknowingly - to where there were a pack of bored, irritated reporters with nothing to cover, and gave them something to do.

Combine the fact that the media don't like to cover themselves critically with the fact that they have plenty of other things to cover in Midtown Manhattan (or any other major city), and this suggests protests outside their HQ's may not be all that effective.

But where MIGHT they be more effective? Let's brainstorm this...

(By the way, there's nothing "mainstream" about the Corporate Media's unholy quest for profit and power. So please don't call them the "MSM.")

NGU.

2. Begin protesting them?
What do you think people at this site have been doing since it came into existance? They have marching orders from their big daddies in the Republican party, and it takes hell breaking lose for them to vary from their propegandistic scripts. We have had a lot of writing campaigns, and individuals among us hammer the media on an almost daily basis.

3. Think Bigger, Think Bolder . . .
I understand that this and other blogs have had the MSM in its sights since their inception. Don't be so defensive.

What I am suggesting is that the freedom of press is established in the US Constitution, and as such they have a responsibility to the public to ask the tough questions of those in power.

When they fail to do so, as is the case now, it takes bigger and bolder demonstrations of the public will to force them to acknowledge their failure to ask the tough questions.

Imagine, 20,000 individual protestors show up every morning outside the CBS studios during their morning show where they like to go outside and talk to people on the street.

We must capture the attention of the grassroots people to let them know people who think like them are speaking out and taking action.

It is just an idea. You have one better, I would like to hear it.

4. CBS featured Paul O'Neill, Richard Clarke, and many other critics of the
admin. . .as well as exposing Halliburton's illicit dealings with Iran. I know you are just using CBS as an example, but their news group is one of the better ones
