Your guess on Bush*s reception at VFW convention? |
|
Standing ovation? Polite applause? Silence?
Many, if not most, Veterans of Foriegn Wars members were in actual combat. These are guys who have been there, done that.
I think they initially supported the "war" in Iraq. I bet many of them are now having second thoughts. I'm guessing something between polite applause and silence.
What's your take?

1. Don't you think that they'll hand-select the "veterans", too? |

2. I think they will only allow koolaid drinkers to attend, frankly. |
|
I think they know its crucial right now to negate the upswell of dissatisfaction about the war. They will NOT allow anything less than fanatic fervor...even if they have to make them sign loyalty oaths.
anything less would be a mistake (in their view).
IMHO.

phony veterans and paid cheerleaders there. edit for my afterthought: It almost seems like these events are done merely to keep the emperor happy. No one seems to buy his stupid rhetoric anymore. His handlers have got to realize what a joke he has become, a caricature of a real president.

8. That sounds reasonable - especially for a "former" addict who is now high |

on himself and his special relationship with God. You just know he's got to have an adulation fix from time to time.
Edit: I think it fits with the malignant narcissist diagnosis as well.

I'm willing to bet the secret service is working overtime. Over what they've already been doing. Some of them boys, they're probably about ready to coup, those that know what war is, and what this monster of a president has done.

9. Remember where the VFW Post Bush is visiting is |

I imagine he'd get a different reception at one in another location.
