Christians screwed by bush; go on singing his praises
Christian conservatives in America, an amalgamation of ignorance, believed (they always believe something) that bush would turn Iraq from a Dictatorship to a theocracy with christianity being the primary religion. How fucking easy it is to get those lunatics to support you. Well they are half right. Iraq will become a theocracy but christianity won't be welcome. The life valuing christians will then continue to support the slaughter of more american servicemembers and continue to wave their flags. I humbly pass on my time to Doug Thompson of Capitol Hill Blue who puts it succinctly and correctly:

"It is no longer bin laden and his fanatical followers who pose the greatest threat to the future of this country. It is george bush and his equally fanatical, zoned-out legions who buy into his destructive anti-american actions.

Let us continue to spread this word - CHRISTIAN CONSERVATIVES ARE THE NUMBER ONE ENEMY OF OUR CONSTITUTION. Somehow, someway they will have their accountability moment; for the sake of our country let us hope it is soon.

1. "How's that Defense of Marriage Act treatin' ya?"
That's one of the things I say to religious whackos when they talk to me. Anything to highlight the differences in what Dipshit *says* and what he *does*.

"How come him and the Repub-controlled Congress haven't outlawed abortion?"

"Why can't they pass a law requiring school prayer/10 Commandments in public buildings/etc.?"

etc. etc.

2. It's kind of funny...
and yet tragic in the same way. All he has to do is tell the whackos he's on their side and they'll vote for him... while somehow all the non-whackos don't seem to MIND that he's pandering to (and lying to) the whackos, and they'll vote for him knowing that he won't actually do what he says.

3. Freepers screwed by Bush keep on singin too....
They got their massive $2.00 per week tax cut only to see gas climb $1.00 per gallon or MORE since Clinton was in office.

That could easily cost $20.00 or MORE per WEEK. But to stupid to figure that Bush just cost them $18.00 per week they keep singing praise to their annointed one.

4. Don't forget
federal contribution to state and local governments has been significantly slashed, forcing them to increase taxes to fund road construction and repair, education of our children, social services and other critical programs. I am quite sure my tax burden has increased over the past five years. Thanks for the token tax cut Dubya! You Rock! :sarcasm:

7. Christians make their bones by being martyred.
Think about it.

Started with Jesus and then the romans feeding them to lions.

They just love to be martyred.
