Gary Qualls on Olberman now
Anyone watching? He says he's not out there all the time thought he could be if he wanted to. He stays with his family unlike Cindy...

"Everybody else in her family, they do not believe in what she's doing...that right there is a reflection on herself...she's losing...don't respect this...many families feel this way..."

It's obviously part of the plan to create an opposing camp where none sprang up spontaneously. Ours is grassroots activism. Their's is a paid propaganda machine...

Is Rightwing Radio KLIF's Ankarlo the bubba behind Ft. Quall?

but he sounds like a freeper douchebag of the worst sort. Not a very bright (or well-rehearsed) one, either.

16. Oh you beat me to it! :P
This poor man is a victim as much as a freeping agitator. I honestly feel great sympathy for this man. Someone got to him, and that someone was one of Rove's "butt boy" propagandists.

The man looked pained like he did not want to be there. He was rehearsed and certainly right wing but I sensed a little glimmer of humanity in his eyes. He was not comfortable being a "talking head" for Bush-Co.

They made him an offer he couldn't refuse and he's staying away because he's not they type who can handle the limelight. I'm of the same temperament. I'd like to believe that I could resist being pressured by people like those who work for Bush-Co. But IMO they are heartless and wouldn't hesitate use "any trash" (blackmail) within your past or payola to get you to do their bidding.

10. They are swiftboating Cindy!!
The creation of "Fort Qualls" by rightwing radio personality Dan Ankarlo is a great example of news being invented rather than reported. Ankarlo who has pushed the idea of "Fort Qualls" to further his own radio career is the handler behind Mr. Gary Qualls. The mainstream media has decided to promote the idea. At no time, has this so-called fort had more than a dozen followers--usually only two protesters have showed up there. So why are the shows like Anderson Cooper, Olberman and all the Sinclair Broadcasting affiliates promoting it as if it were a full-fledged opposition camp? Because they hope to create an opposition, that's why.

11. It is extremely sad and disheartening
to see the RW use simple people, people who only know how to follow orders and be 'patriotic', people of obviously limited capacity to think, using these people to fight and die in wars of aggression.

I think I'm going to be sick at the ghastliness of using this poor man and his dead son for such horrific purposes

Here's this guy who said among other things ...

That he phone Cindy Sheehan and let her know he lost his son in Iraq and that Cindy HUNG UP ON HIM!!! Now why is it I just can't imagine Cindy doing that??

He said that Cindy was using the names of our soldiers for her political agenda. That she had no right to use his son's name. Yet it seems that Cindy or someone at Camp Casey made a cross for his son when he didn't find it there. Guess he needed a talking point.

When asked how long he was planning to be at Fort Qualls, he admitted that he lived down the road and really had no time to be there cause he had a family to take of after all and unlike Cindy Sheehan he took that family responsibility seriously. KO did step in here and pointed out that Cindy's children were grown. To which this demonstrator who wasn't really demonstrating and only appearing for media spots, said that well her family doesn't support anything she's doing and she should stay home where she belongs.

He bragged that his 16 year old was ready to sign up to go to Iraq. KO asked him how he felt about that (since he only had 2 sons and lost one already) and this asshat says that it was fine by him since his son was free to make up his mind and make that choice.

So I guess if you put up a tent with a sign on it that's enough to be considered an pro-war pro Bush vigil. What an insult to those who've sacrificed time and money and withstood the heat and the ants and lived in a god damned ditch!!! Isn't that so like the Repuke way.

I'm pissed that KO gave this asshole any time at all. He should have just interviewed the damn tent!

On edit: Will someone who has that picture of Cindy hugging him send it KO along with a scathing email ... puleaaaassssseeeeeeee

PT Barnum I believe.

Just drawing more and more media attention to Bush on his record-breaking vacation will hurt. Gas prices are skyrocketing. More caskets are coming back home from Iraq. Bush has no plan. His lies are being exposed, finally, a little bit, in the mass media.

Any attention on Camp Casey and the denizens holed up at the Imperial Pig Farm Upon Crawford will work to get citizens looking longer and harder at the so-called commander in chief -- as he remains AWOL through the end of the summer. As usual.

So I say, Bring on the NeoCon Counter Protest, and wave a phalanx of American flags at them.
