Reuel Gerecht still thinks he's better than any woman

he was on Wash. Journal this a.m.

he called some of us women "highly secularized women".

and, get this, he said you could have a democracy without having women equal. he wishes.

and he did a strange thing in referring to americans. he called us "they"

monochrome, snide bastard

7. Neoconman and PNACer
who feels that if Iraq's "democracy" resembles our Republic circa 1900, where women couldn't vote, we should be delighted.
Too bad he didn't select 1860 as his benchmark, so he could be laughed out of Washington.

is the only way he CAN achieve his equality.

Good catch on the "they". Yes, they want rule and law, but don't see themselves being ruled by it. Rulers are above the law, and to the likes of him, in his eyes the wealthy are the rulers, one and the same. What a damn fool.

5. I saw that POS this morning. What an a**hole!
Apparently, "historically" speaking, democracy can thrive without women having equal "social" rights.

I also heard some fundie idiot call in to say that Iraqis should have one vote per household, with the husband deciding what that vote should be.
