No, the Grand Jury is still at work. We'll talk about it when something
new arises.

3. Fitzgerald runs a tight ship
His people don't leak, so there's nothing to report. The case continues to be built behind closed doors.

4. I was actually afraid we were going to talk ourselves
right into a terrorist attack. But, I am a MIHOP kind of person.

6. Get out your posters
from Move On that say "Loose Lips, Pink slips, Fire Karl Rove" and leave them in many places.

I have some mini ones I plan to leave somewhere if I can remember.

7. dead issue
it started as a dead issue and will end as one.

People are more "into" Sheehan and $3/gal gasoline...

8. It rises and falls with the fickle attention of the people
Hey, there's A LOT going on right now, and very little of it is fluff pieces about celebrity divorces or abductions. Roberts is getting some press (remember, he was a diversion, so it's working somewhat), Cindy Sheehan is getting some air time, gas is taking up some space and then there's that pesky little war, too.

You're old enough to remember Watergate; this is following a very similar pattern of resurfacing with a flurry of new developments that kick up a fuss, then submerging for a while, only to return.

This doesn't feel like a dead issue at all. It's already cost two very powerful journalists their careers, and if Junior tries to stop or fire Fitzgerald, it'll be an instant firestorm.

Fitzgerald may very well play out the clock and indict at the very last minute just to be as prepared as possible. Then again, it could come at any moment. Personally, I'm pulling for the latter; if a couple of fish escape the net because of it, it'll still probably help the investigation to continue.

Personally, I'm on the edge of my seat.
