Edited on Wed Aug-24-05 02:14 AM by global1
war plan in Iraq? Is Robertson saying we could have saved alot of money if we would have covertly assassinated Saddam? Is the Christian Coalition coming out against the war in Iraq? Could Robertson be supporting Cindy?

1. Not really
the point wasn't getting rid of Saddam, but getting an army sitting on the oil reserves.

2. They all tried to bomb Saddam. That is why Saddam slept in so
many places. Even Clinton would have done that.If you break the rule of the UN - you get a bomb on your head. Why should some civilian die because you are going against international law - when nations bombs as punishment?

That being said - Chavez was getting 'high level visitors' and making friends in the US these past months. Someone panicked - may have suggested to Robertson or spoon-fed him some line so that he would react like a madman and re-frame the debate on Chavez to good vs. evil.

Oh no - Mr. Bill! Splat.

They seem to be missing more than they are hitting with their tangled webs.

I think Robertson is in the loop so to speak. Some greased his engine.

3. No
His comments are just more brainwashing by the nutjob fundies:

As long as we post the Ten Commandments, we don't actually have to follow any of them.
