7. Interesting.
Applause during Bush's speech was both muted and scattered.

Because I did not get that impression from my local news coverage of the President's appearance. They made sure to show a clip of him coming out after he was introduced with all the vets standing and applauding.

Memo to Corporate Media: That dead weight is just getting heavier and heavier. You can try to keep propping him up, but even you won't be able to hold him up forever.

The anti-* vets either. This is good news , my Grandpa didn't buy this war in 2003 and he's a Korean war VET. I'm proud of those guys.

Do they have CREDIBILITY *?
