Ohio Minority Leader, Representative Chris Redfern, has his pulse on changing Ohio politics back to the honorable status of years gone bye...

He has taken strong notice of the Coingate and other crimes of the Taft Administration. The term,"Impeachment" has been whispered in the hallways of the Ohio Statehouse!

Check out Chris Redferns Webstite too!

AP: Ohio Democrats Weigh Governor Impeachment
by Matt Leingang
ASSOCIATED PRESS

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio's House Democrats are considering impeachment proceedings against Republican Gov. Bob Taft, who pleaded no contest last week to four ethics violations.

House Minority Leader Chris Redfern said Sunday that Democrats had made no decision yet about whether to seek Taft's ouster _ impeachment would be difficult if not impossible with Republicans controlling both houses of the Legislature.

2. Not good on health care policy
He as a very piecemeal approach, strongly influenced by lobbyists, particularly the dental and eye care lobbies. Don't get me wrong, those things are important, but he didn't support issues like expanding access to treatment for uninsured cancer patients.

I'm not sure if he's inexperienced in health care issues, lacks understanding of overall policy or is just inexperienced.

He still has a lot to learn.

5. He has the ear of nurses.
We can keep him on task... Why? Because he knows when to ask for feedback in effort to make an informed decision. He is terrific with the environment too.

3. He's out next year anyway, Blackwell is who we have to worry about
Ted Strickland needs the African American vote and I think that if he talks about Blackwell's voter suppression, he can get that.

4. I adore Chris Redfern.
I love going up to the Ohio Statehouse and seeing him in ACTION. He is commanding. He is a cross between John Edwards and John Kennedy!

Check out his new website. Tremendously informative.
