I'm sort of freaking out. I got this e-mail this morning about Cindy.

Has anyone else gotton this? From some guy named Mike Stanley? In the subject line it says, "Cindy Sheehan is ugly"

With this in the text box:

"This isn't Viet Nam and all those young adults over there are volunteers. I have two 'kids'in the military and I respect the choices they make even if I don'tlike their career choices. If a policeman dies in South Central LA, his mother does not parade to the mayor wondering what her son was doing there. The officer chose his position."

It sort of sounded familiar, like I might have somehow gotten spammed by a freeper site.

I told him to "F@%&$%ck off and take me off his list".

But then I just got this back tonight:

"oh come on at least admit the bitch is fugly and has a huge nose."

Again, I told him to F#$%ck off and take me off his list.

It is sort of creeping me out.

Anyone know what's up.

This can be determined by looking at the email message source. For Outlook Express, this is found under:
File Menu->Properties->Details->Message Source

You can tell from the "Received:" part.

But in general, never give out your email address.

It was a hotmail account.

And, I really don't give out my e-mail address.

Just clients, etc. And, I am a notorious lurky around DU so I can't see why someone would pick me.

I would imagine that Cindy's son probably joined up to protect his country against foreign threats, and defend his Mom. How could he (or any other service people) have foreseen that he would be sent to invade a non-threatening country which we new was not a threat?
