Cindy Sheehan & Israel

I need to find a credible source that will explain to my boss what Cindy said/believes to be true about Israel. My boss is a moderate Dem and she is getting all worked up over this comment and wants to know what the deal is. All that I can find are bogus sources from rite wing sites. I tried to explain to her that this is a smear tactic, but I am also aware that Cindy has made comments about the US/Israel relationship. What is the truth about what Cindy said about Israel?

excuse me for not being clear. I came to this community for help with resources because I am a staunch supporter of Cindy and I am trying to come to her defense. Thanks for wasting my time with your negativity. I am not listening to a RW pundit, I'm listening to my boss who happens to have a little pull and I want to provide her with the facts and the truth.

In here, someone has posted a clip from an Anderson Cooper interview. I don't know the poster and so can't swear by the accuracy. It sounds right, though.

You might tell the boss that it's hard to prove a negative. It's easier to find what she has said than to prove she never said something.

From what I know, several weeks ago she was saying something that the U.S. should get out of Iraq and Israel should get out of Palestine, something like that.

The next day she was interviewed by Anderson Cooper, I think, and she immediately said this was a mistake, that it diluted her message. Though she never retracted the actual comment.

Then Anderson Cooper showed her some kind of an ad, again, blaming Israel for her son's death, and she categorically denied that she ever said that. She said that this was not her style.

Bottom line, I think, is that she questions the U.S. policy in the Middle East and this include Israel.
