Vote here: 41 vs.43 's Race to the Bottom- who will go lower? |
|
Although it's not quite apples for apples because 41 was a one-termer (but who's counting):
LOWEST JOB APPROVAL NUMBERS (of presidency): George H.W. Bush was at 35% in 1992 (pre-convention) Junior the Executioner is at 40% (now)
Who will have the lowest job approval (Daddy or Junior) and what percentage? (if voting for the War Chimp)
Place your bets.

1. I'll take 30% for Junior |
|
That's the number of idjits who'll support him if his head starts turning around on his shoulders.

3. Junior has much more time to achieve true presidential failure. |
|
So... I'll say Junior at 30 right after the '06 election.

5. High twenties. Nixon, if my memory serves me, was at |
|
26 or 27% approval when he resigned. There are idiots and establishmentarians who will support any "president," even an unelected one.

6. I've always believed Iraq was about 43's unresolved Oedipal issues |

and the thrust of his life has been to show his father he is the better, more successful man. Comparisons with his father gall him most.
So, I think it would send him (further) over the edge for his presidency to be recorded in history books for perpetuity as a "greater failure" than his Daddy's.. and for him to be the "less popular" president.
