Did anyone else see the CNN special "Dead Wrong" yet? |
|
It's replaying right now, by the way.
I saw most of it earlier today.
I thought it was fairly good, not perfect, but a LOT better than what I've come to expect from CNN lately.
If you DID see it (or are watching it now) what did you think of the show?

2. It put a lot of things in perspective, |
|
It was not very accusatory. But I just wish those counter-protesters in Crawford could have seen it.

3. Yeah, a couple of times. |
|
I wish I could record it on DVR. It will concisely answer alot of questions in the future for those who can't figure out what's been happening (to them) over the last five years.

4. Watched it earlier this afternoon and thought it was |

quite brave of CNN, and would have been even braver if it had been released last year, as was intended.

called behind 911 (I think) and it was in 2 parts that together lasted 4 hours! It was mindboggling! I don't know if they'll run it again or not.
edited for spelling. ;o(

7. Yes, it's called "Inside 9-11" |
|
I taped it. Yes it was good, Part 2 was very intense.
I bet they will replay it right around 9/11 this year too.

8. I'm glad that I got to see it. |
|
I know most people have seen it already, and this documentary is already "old news," but I haven't been able to catch it until tonight.
If only this had run on air before the election.

They should've been drawing these conclusions all the while this obvious scheme to occupy Iraq had been going on. They had to be embarrassed, by bloggers, into giving the Downing Street Memos air time. And even then their initial stories were about how the liberal bloggs were chatting about the DSM and trying to get the story air time and little about the actual gravity of the revelations within the documents. Why is CNN airing this report now? What new incident or piece of evidence has turned up in the past few weeks to make CNN conclude that the intel was "Dead Wrong"? The answer is that support for Bush and this war has finally turned and more importantly to CNN, it has turned permanently. CNN has safely assumed that the war in Iraq has no possibility of a positive outcome and that Americans blame Bush for it. The polls show it. Most foreign policy and military experts agree it's a disaster. I cannot believe that CNN airing this program at this time of discontent is a coincidence or that CNN has just now put the pieces together. I think CNN knew, just as most of us did, that Bush and the gang were lying the entire time. That they kept quiet all this time, having the report in the can and waiting, is nothing short of cowardice.

14. Whatever...at least their airing it.... |
|
Yeah, there were right at the front buying in to every Bush BS lie about Iraq. They couldn't get enough of saying WMD every ten seconds and then the big attraction Shock and Awe.
They should be backhanded for not really doing INVESTIGATIVE work on their own but simple buying into the Lies for War. But...I'll give them a couple of kudo's for at least having the GUTS to run this piece. You'd never see FOX run it in anyones lifetime.

I thought it was good, very well done, and dared to state the truth.
They got way more response to it than most of their documentaries, they said.
