|
Edited on Sun Aug-28-05 09:23 AM by KoKo01
stepping on his own feet and Snuffy's at him. Biden even says David Brooks is on his side.... Biden showing his PNAC colors.......
Amazing! He even tried to trash Gary Hart. :nuke:
Anyone listening? Stephanopolis on ABC..

30. Short for Snuffalopogus (the muppet from Sesame Street) |
|
Some people use "Stephanopoulos" and "Snuffalopogus" interchangeably, as either a sign of endearment or disrespect (haven't quite figured which).
Personally, he's lost a lot of respect with me over the last few years. I don't even watch him regularly any longer.
But, I watched this morning, inadvertently, and I have to say, Biden was a disgrace. He needs to take about a year off from Sunday shows so people can forget his performance this morning. I've seen him be bad, but he was REALLY bad this morning.

4. Biden said: "I REFUSE TO DEFEND MYSELF to GARY HART... |
|
He said this shouting and Snuffy said: "but Hart is a former Presidential Candidate and former Senator what's wrong with him stating what he feels" and Biden had to put his head down to control his anger and then went off in a shouting angry dialog....
Amazing. He also said Condi Rice called him last night about Iraq Constitution...:eyes: Glad he has a "personal pipeline" to Condi.

12. Dorgan saying we can not get straight answers about the number of |
|
troops who can really "stand up"---he is on Fox and doing good. He is up against chris wallace and another Repug. Mitch mcConnel (yuk)
He repeats that we can not get straight answers--so how can anyone think of a viable plan for withdrawal!!!!!

18. This is true. It is also the problem. Our leaving Iraq isn't |
|
rocket science. Once we train enough Iraqi forces we can begin to withdraw. It's apparent that the bushies don't want to withdraw as they are not forthcoming about training Iraqi forces. So, it's pretty frustrating for the opposition to have to answer the question what would you do differently when the lying administration CLAIMS to be doing what the opposition says we should be doing. At some point the opposition will have to flat out call the administration on their lies. They will have to say, the administration is saying one thing while doing nothing. Then they will have to prepared to answer the question, why would they do that? It appears that no one wants to answer that question at this time.

in '04. What is it with all these dull Dems from the '88 campaign trying to make a come back?
Biden lost once and he'll lose again. He has no widespread support within the party. He's likely one of the smarmiest politicians I have seen.

21. That was my impression. He was feeling heat. And when Snuffy went |
|
at him he let loose not standing with Feingold or Hart. I've never seen him except when he's smiling and fawning and blathering. Maybe he read Frank Rich's article before he went on ABC this morning. Maybe he's hearing how upset we here on the Left the "Activist" wing of the party is with these spineless DINO's.
If he's running for Pres he's going to need those of us who worked for Kerry/Edwards. Lot's of us don't think that a Biden candidate would get us off our butts and out there knocking on doors. I don't know who he thinks he will recruit unless his strategy is to have defecting Repugs on the ground going door to door for him? :eyes:

10. Sounds like he's the Lieberman of 2008. |
|
Being selected for Veep went to his head to the point where he was oblivious to the fact that no one in the party agreed with him politically.
Biden's sought-after telegenic presence appears to be having the same self-hypnotic effect.
Now he threatens to seek the nomination.
Well, bring it on.

and got only one reply, and that reply was that it was Biden's "bookers" who were out there pushing him hard. Period. That wouldn't be happening if Biden were not pushing them to do so.
TC
On edit: Good luck with the "media blast". Maybe if enough people write, they will resist Biden's "bookers"???
