They've decided to write-off the Sunnis in Iraq.... |
|
Perhaps they plan on isolating them and starving them out this winter? It's a clear sign they have given up on finding a workable solution. Reported just this morning, the Sunnis have gone to the UN and the Arab League looking for assistance. They can see the writing on the wall. The Americans, with the assistance of their Iraqi toadies, plan on destroying the Sunni rebellion.
So we will send an extra ten thousand troops to guard the polls during the election, to make sure we get the results that we want - not necessarily what the Iraqi people want. It's not likely that the Kurds and Shiites will vote with the Sunnis interest, although the interest of Iraq as a nation must include their capitol- Baghdad, and it appears this strategy is a recipe for disaster. As usual, it was probably made with politics in mind - American politics - as in the election of 2006 and 2008.

Very sad! More people will die for this "Fast-Food" like constitution....again the works of US politis as a constitution gives Bush a bit of breathing room and a slight change of subject.

3. And that stupid Sen. Pat Roberts said |

on Wolf Blitzer that if the Sunni's have a choice between this Constitution and civil war, they certainly should choose the Constitution. Yep, this Administration has definitely written off the Sunni's.
