We'd see bold action in the face of the impending disaster about to befall the gulf coast.

We would see a very-short-term nationalization of the civil aviation fleet. Planes would fly into New Orleans and every other airport and grass strip in Louisiana, load up residents and fly them out to safer ground.

We see the reception sites for the refugees equipped and manned by a whole host or relief organizations, including the local National Guards.

We'd see government reimbursement to hotels and local governments in and of the receptor sites for rooms and services given to the refugees.

We'd see that same civil aviation industry re-nationalized so they could run night flights back to Louisiana to return the refugees when it is safe. These flights would be run after midnight so as to disrupt as little as possible the normal commerce of the nation.

We would see a leader (if we had one) on teevee non stop, telling the nation what has happened, what is happening, and what will happen.

Instead ..... we have this fuckwad .....
