are drowning and begging for help from a National Guard (and their equipment) that is on the other side of the globe?

I hope this drives his approval ratings to the single digits.

Surely Americans will see that this administration doesn't care, not just about civilians in Iraq, about Americans themselves (unless they're wealthy).

10. This is from the Guardian
http://www.guardian.co.uk/usa/story/0,12271,1558908,00.html

Large areas of New Orleans were last night under water after Hurricane Katrina pummelled the city with winds of more than 100mph, causing huge damage to property and catastrophic flooding.

There were reports of people climbing into attics to escape rising water in the low-lying city, and witnesses described walls of water running down skyscrapers like waterfalls.

Local radio reported multiple bodies floating in the water in one area of the city.

Many were feared dead in flooded neighbourhoods, but the extent of casualties remained unclear as it was still too dangerous for rescue teams to enter affected areas.

11. Could all the poor people have been evacuated with the money..
spent to fly the little emperor to Utah, Idaho and San Diego for his vacations within his vacation?

I have been sick watching the poorest of the poor left behind when evacuation plans only seemed to work for those with their own funds and cars. With the money spent on Air Force One and all the security for bush these past five weeks, could we have saved all those people?

14. I don't know anyone who doesn't despise him
And I do mean despise him. I don't think I've EVER seen a President this hated, not even Nixon or Reagan during his last, worst years in office.

No one voted for him in the first place. He's going to be lucky if he escapes from office with *just* impeachment.

BTW, he doesn't give a damn about normal, working wealthy people either. These people were poor or middle class once and tend to have sympathy for those who are less fortunate. The Chimpmeister, meanwhile, once said to a group of his "base", "we are as different from the common man as chimpanzees are from humans". I don't think he realized on which end he belonged. :-)

Time", but it's still ironic, thinking about all who suffered and continue to suffer from this gigantic tragedy. I bet the Chimperor will fake going fishing in a wealthy supporter's high-class yacht in the Gulf again after he'll finish faking (crocodile-) tears... <-- real ones here

28. The very fact that he's making speeches about other issues
for which he thinks he needs to drum up more support - like health care and the FUCKING war - in THIS time of colossal domestic crisis (especially in his own "home turf" - some of the reddest of the red states) is appalling. Just appalling. He's gotta go do a sales pitch, instead of focusing 100 percent on helping these people...

Good Lord, every time I think I hate him as much as it's possible to hate somebody, I find reason to hate him more.

Visualize IMPEACHMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pass it on...

And while you're at it - pass THIS along, too:
Bush has slashed Clinton's Disaster Mitigation Program. (unbelievable)
