Well - after Katrina it is quite clear right now...the RW has no idea
of how to govern and take care of the good folks in this country...they only know how to bully and help their friends profit from it.

Anything else is well beyond their ken.

5. Got a letter from Ken Mehlman
"... Due to the size of this storm and the area of impact, the cost for recovery will be staggering. For that reason, we are asking you, our supporters, to make a donation to hurricane relief efforts. The American Red Cross and the Salvation Army provide shelter, food, water, blankets and clothing to those who have lost everything." ...

Gotta make up for the slack hanging off of FEMA.

7. another large tab for a GOP goof up
the first was the ignoring of 52 memos with catchy titles like
Bin Laden determined to strike in the US

and

now
we are left with the failure of the levees in New Orleans after
Bush scuttled the program to reinforce them, so now we can dig
in our pockets once again, but don't expect to be invited
to a Republican town hall meeting anytime soon.

9. Well, yeah...get the po' folks who know about deprivation to
contribute to charities while the wealthy ones are waaaayyyyy offshore on their yachts, or in their office towers, counting their money...

And the taxes on repatriated offshore profits at a huge discount that accounted for the drop in the deficit won't really affect everyone that they laid off so they could increase their profits and their payback to their wealthy investors.

Poor people understand - they've been there...rich people don't have a clue!

10. A good start is to take away ALL profits the OIL industry is sure to make
off this misery!

ALL OF IT!

ZERO profits for the next couple years - they made BILLIONS in RECORD PROFITS the past 5 + years from bunkerboy's crimes!

8. ok, here's how they see it:
Using the "strict father" model, the lower and middle class people are "bad" children who need to be more self-reliant and take care of themselves; the government should not have to waste its money on them. They should all have forseen the disaster and taken appropriate steps! Our government needs to save its money for rewarding those who really deserve it, the rich and prosperous "good" children! :sarcasm:

11. As Wes Clark has
said, some people are born on 3rd base, but think they have hit a home run.

My comment:

Thus they can be smug, judgmental, and think they are morally superior cause they got tons of money.

:puke:

12. Oh yea, where are all the "pro life" bleeding heart
conservatives now, when so many are suffering so much in the south?

Where are they? Significantly silent, cause truth be told they do not give a flying fig for anyone but themselves and their own self-righteous blather.

:spank:
