never in my wildest dreams would I believe what is on AAR right now.....
the "young turks" espousing how G. H. W. Bush was "OK", I voted for him? WTF???? Poppy is the son-of-a-bitch who pardoned all of the Iran Contra Criminals who should still be sitting in jail right now, but no.......most of them are gainfully employed again by the Bu$H Crime Family. Shit, I hope Malloy isn't listening, I just turned it off. I Hate all of the Bushes, they are the worst thing that ever happened to this country. Fuck em, and fuck the "young turks"!

1. The one guy was a conservative. So we won't accept conservatives
who once voted republican?

Isn't that who we want to win over?

If you start purging everyone who once voted republican we'll never win anything.

Lighten up.

9. ok, fine.....
but, I am not forgiving them for what they have done, there is no way that "Poppy" was ever ok, or will ever be. I really don't think we are going to "win" them over, we just need honest elections.

15. How can you convert them
if all you're doing is reinforcing their decision to support a failed Republican president? How does that make them like Dems better?

Seriously, you're kidding, righ?

That logic makes no sense. It hasn't worked in the past, and for good reason. You have to give them reasons to support Dems not Republicans.

16. OH MY GOD they did support Gore and Kerry. Isn't that convert enough
whaddya want them to do build a time machine and go back and change their vote?

They are progressive hosts. Let it go @ that.

We need as many people as we can.

If you wanna start purging start. Just don't be surprised if you end up being by yourself. I'm sure purity is in short supply.

18. your reply contained the following
"Isn't that who we want to win over?

If you start purging everyone who once voted republican we'll never win anything."

The moof reply above was meant to point out that "we " already won the election therefore votes from the fringe are not needed to win , all that is required is that election fraud be eliminated.

13. Then talk about how Dem ideas are better
Giving praise to Repubs who don't deserve it won't win any converts.

We need to make them see how Dems have better policies and have actually accomplished great things that even Republicans should admire.

17. You must not have sirius. They have an excellent show. Don't just
take one example and brand them for life. IF you haven't followed the show don't make a snap judgement.

19. I was once a repub..

One who proudly served this country in the Gulf War and fought in 6 other campaigns. I grew up in an all Military family made to believe that Dem's. were nothing but for high taxation and for stealing our civil liberties. ha ha I laugh now.

Now after being abrade for over 8 years in 20 different countries and have seen first hand what this CRIME FAMILY has turned the GREAT UNITED STATES of AMERICA into, I had to ask myself the same question I ask many others does the Republican Party truly represent how you feel inside? The most common answer is NO.

You are right by saying the way to strengthen the Democratic Party is not by bashing the republicans, we need to show them the reasons why the Dem's are better.

1. Start by saying they defend your civil liberties.

2. Against the Patriot Act.

3. Defenders of the true Constitution. ( We the people, not WE we the People )

4. Against sending our troops into harms way for an unjust cause. ( OIL )

This list could go on and on but , I think you get my point this party will NEVER grow as long as you tell the republicans their party sucks, you have to show them why ours is better.

Peace from a BLUE STATE !!

4. GHW did not wreak the havoc that * has (and I didn't vote for him).
Not defending him, but it's hard to think of a U.S. president who isn't "OK" compared with 43.

5. OK?
The guy who told Hussein we didn't have an interest in Iraq's border dispute with Kuwait, just before he invaded?

Who then ordered the stand down of our helicopters and allowed Hussein to use his helicopters to slaughter the Shia after Gulf War 1?

The guy who pardoned all the Iran Contra and BCCI criminals?

6. Jenk Ugar (spelling) is veery anti-Bush
He's an ex-republican who saw the light.

He isn't always PC but he gets very hard on Bush and the Iraq War and the Republican mindset. .
