Cindy for Congress?
From the Waco Tribune Herald, a Cox Rag

http://www.wacotrib.com/news/content/news/stories/2005/08/31/20050831wacsheehan_in_poli.html

“I think we have to have a new party, Camp Caseykins, Caseycrats or something,” she said. “I don't identify with either party at all. I don't identify with them. I think they're different sides of the same coin.”

1. We could certainly use someone with her clarity of thought.

2. She's, unfortunately, right about the parties being alike,

by and large. But, I really don't want to see her in Congress. I think she is more valuable where she is doing what she's doing. She is now the leader of a movement that could restore conscience and justice to goverment. She will never be able to do that from a seat in Congress.

Plus, if she runs for anything right now, those on the other side, looking to belittle her accomplishments, will say she just did it for political reasons. The Camp Casey movement was not about politics. It was about holding our governement accountable for what it does to/with our kids, and to other countries in our name.

We all want our kids and our good name back! That's what she needs to stand for.

3. Cindy's district is blue right now....
...and from what I understand, represented by a good democrat.

Now, if we could get her to move west a little bit, she'd be in Dan Lundgren's district, and all bets would be off. :)

he's a walking petoot.

But, isn't Cindy better where she is and doing what she's doing?

5. I believe she said she would stick with the anti war protest
until the troops come home. That delays her career indefinitely.
