Democratic Leaders: Enough is Enough. It's time to STAND up now!
Some of you may have seen this, but I think this lady sums up much of what I am feeling as well:

Self-identified Democrats were particularly impatient. More than three in four said congressional Democrats have not gone far enough to oppose Bush on Iraq or on administration policies in general.

"Somebody needs to speak up," said Michelle Burgess, 41, a home health aide in St. Louis. "Enough is enough. I don't understand why we're over there in Iraq or what he's doing on other issues. There are too many lives being lost."

Bushs approval is at an all-time low. Democratic leaders in the Senate and Congress still seem too tepid, too scared to grow a set of balls and stand TOGETHER and say enough is enough:

On the War.

On gas prices.

On civil rights (or the lack there of).

On Cindy Sheehan.

I want to see my senator (Russ Feingold) start speaking up against this Administration.

The time is SOOO ripe for us to take our country back. Dammit, let's do it!

1. They are doing their job if Bush is at all-time low.
The GOP and media want the Democrats to bail Bush out. They are doing just fine.

3. Are DEM congressional poll numbers much better than Bush's?
Bush is at an all time low because he sucks- it certainly cant be attributed to anything DEMs did- I wish it could.

Cindy Sheehan told more blunt, unvarnished truth about Bush, ON TV, in front of cameras, than I've seen any Democrat do in years.

America is waking up- but unfortunatley, DEMs are not the ones providing the coffee.

2. We begged and begged them to just MENTION the DSM- most refused.

That was very telling to me.

They wrote some letters and put some things on a website, and promised some "behind the scenes" solutions- but they refused to talk about it on TV and start a national dialouge on WHY we are at war.

The DEM strategists who lost the last 3 elections think all the things you mention are "old news" and "Micheal Moore stuff" and that we need to be pro-war.

I'm tired of tokens & promises from the DEMs- I want to see the "star" Democrats ON TV talking about the lies that got us into this war. ON TV- where EVERYONE can hear them- not on a Website or on CSPAN3- but on major TV shows.

I want to see them asking why the NATIONAL Guard is not in LA and Miss. where they belong.ON TV- not in a "release" that only donors see.

5. Absolutely agree. We need to voice our opposition in the major media.
Its one thing to oppose * on C-span 3, its entirely another to stand among 10-15 other leaders in the Dem party and hold a press conference to be broadcast EVERYWHERE in the mass media stating this the Dem's out and out opposition to everything that has gone wrong is the * Administration.

Time to provide alternatives to his jackass choices and call him out for the lies and poorly run administration we've seen-esp. in the last 10 months.

Gas is about to climb to $4.00 a gallon. WTF?!

6. Here comes the part where DUers claim they have been "banned" from TV
And claims that Kerry, Hillary, Dean & Obama would "have their mics cut" if they mentioned the DSM or the National Guard on the Wolf Blitzer show.

ROLL OUT THE USUAL EXCUSES folks- I'm ready as always.

4. Anyone who is satisfied with what the Democrats in the House and Senate
have been doing or, more pointedly, NOT DOING... is not paying attention.

Except for a very few (and we all know who they are), they are derelict in their duties, and not representing us at all.
