Anderson Cooper reporting on Federal failure(s) on CNN
He's repeating what he hears from survivors -- where is the NAtional Guard? Where is the Federal government?

"No sign of FEMA or the Red Cross in her neighborhood..."

What a momumental fuck-up -- or rather, SOP for the Crawford Caligula...

6. He's asking..."where are the feds?"
Edited on Wed Aug-31-05 06:22 PM by Old and In the Way
FEMA guy says his comments are unacceptable. Anderson is telling the guy that this is getting worse by the minute...he's not accepting the BS by the FEMA guy.

7. WHat is new FEMA slogan? The first 48-72 hours you're on your own?
Is this what they mean by efficient government run like a business--ducking the liabilities and sticking others with the bill?
Government that prudently won't waste money trying to save cities or lives in danger, but only cleans up for those lucky enough to survive the catastrophe on their own?
