Poll question: You think * delayed response in N.O. so not to interfere w/"God's will?" |
|
This may sound crazy but, do you think * delayed response in N.O. so not interfere with what he perceived as "God's will?"
I hope I'm wrong, but isn't he one of those apocalyptic Christians?
Would that be an impeachable charge, i.e. failure to protect (enforce) and defend the Constitution, or allowing one's religion to interfere with his duties as (ack!) president?

3. I doubt God had anything to do with his decision... |
|
I don't think he understood the nature of the humanitarian crisis nor the political betrayal of the media as they witnessed the catastrophe first hand.

|
supply side economics is *'s jesus.
i couldn't choose just one reason but i know he did not do it for 'god's will' because his erl buddies have been very negatively impacted by this catsatrophe. he did not even rush to their aid.
he is obviously a sociopath . . . with a grossly inflated opinion of himself.

...I could be wrong...but wasn't the French Quarter the only place in NOLA that didn't flood and wasn't destroyed? One of the bars opened up the very next day and in the middle of the week there was a little mardi gras type transvestite parade. (There were pictures of it here at DU.) So...God saved the bars and flooded the churches.

A few casualties (e.g. 100000 or more) is nothing to him, especially if they're mostly black.

I wish you would have listed
You think * delayed response in N.O. so not to interfere w/"Satan's will?"
Because I think if you were a real fundamentalist you would see that statement is more true than the other options you have given your readers.

12. I'm not a Fundamentalist, one of the reasons I ask this question is... |
|
...because I know so little about that type of thinking, or twisted logic, might be a better way to describe it.
Basically, it was just question I woke up with that gave me an awful feeling. Hence I posed it to see what others thought.

13. Hate the thought I"m having |
|
But I keep having it--that it is cheaper and more expedient to dig mass graves than to rescue and sustain evacuees.
Shame on me for even thinking the unthinkable and I hope this is as crazy as it sounds.

15. It's a push to demolish social programs...shove them off to the states, |

and charitable organizations.
That's why he wouldn't fund the Army Corps of Engineers plan to upgrade the levees. His attitude is to let the states take responsibility...oh, and the "thousand points of light" (faith-based organizations and charities) his daddy talked about.
Are we really taking money from other countries now too???
Bush wants to dismantle the federal government, more or less.
