3. Brown is not merely a scapegoat
He does bear the brunt of the responsibility for this clusterfuck.

If Bush actually holds someone in his administration accountable for one of their fuck-ups, I'll be shocked, but he almost HAS to.

11. Exactly, he suddenly needs to spend more time with his family.
Definitely the sense this is coming soon was evident on MSM. Well, this is sort of a first. It will be the first time in five bloody years that anyone in the bush junta has been held accountable. Where's the leadership?

9. The wingnuts are "preying" that stops the bleeding of what's left
of *'s policial capitol(loose change). There's some SCOTUS nominations and they are not in a fighting posture right now. The question is who would replace Brown. Chertoff also needs to resign. Impeach Bush - he should bear the responsibility for nominating people like Chertoff, Brown, Rumsfeld, Gonzales, et al. * needs to own the consequences of his stupidity.

12. Hmmm....didn't a certain NJ governor have to resign
for hiring an incompetent crony for the state DHS?

Okay, in that case the "incompetent crony" was his gay lover. But didn't we all keep hearing "it's not about being gay"?
