Where did all the Bush/Cheney stickers go? They have |
|
VANISHED in Pinellas County, Florida. I actively looked for a "W" on my way home and did not spot one during the whole half-hour drive. This has NEVER happened since 2004. Are they being used for some sort of hurricane relief I don't know about? Like maybe, "promise to put this sticker on your car when you get one again, agree that this was God's will and you can have this nice bottle of water?"

And I was going through my file cabinet today, and came across a John Kerry bumper sticker. It's going back on the car tomorrow!

19. What a great opportunity to put "Impeach Bush" ...... |
|
.....bumper stickers on every DU'er car in the country. Then watch it spread to 62% of the country that think he's an asshole. Let's start a trend today.

21. You know, it's creepy, but I still see them in the Portland area. |
|
I live on the edge of Portland, near the Beaverton/Tigard border. Every time I venture out to, say, Target in the 'burbs, I am subjected to at least one or two W stickers. I swear it's all I can do to keep from ramming into those bastards. It surprises me that I still see them.
There are also a lot of Kerry stickers, too, of course.

4. man. I drove for the first time in a week - did not see one |
|
Until you mentioned it, I did not think of it. I did not see any at all. Not one. I live in a region that voted for W 60-40 even though the rest of the state saw the light.
There was one lame Alan Keyes/ W billboard, next to a sad BUSH/CHENEY billboard, but they are so torn up on I-80 (E) you hardly notice them anymore.
bumper stickers? none.

11. Northern NJ reporting in . . . |
|
I still see a few W stickers here and there. Back in October/November, they seemed to be on every other car.
AND I've seen a couple just recently that look as if attempts had been made to remove them -- one in particular had been applied to the window from INSIDE the car.
On the other hand, I do still see quite a few K/E stickers.

15. Same here also from Northern New Jersey - in |
|
one of the most Republican counties - Morris. I don't think I've seen a Bush sticker for over a week. I am still seeing Kerry stickers. I wonder if this area may have remorse - because it's a very affluent area and some of the top 1% live here. (not me!) So, some of the Bush voting was based on tax cuts.

12. Small RED town NC checking in.... |
|
I saw only one today. Down from the usual 5 to ten.
I was looking at first because I slapped a sign in the back of my station wagon that said: Poor? Middle Class? GWB Eats Cake While You Die. With that stupid picture of him sucking his thumb on one side window and a picture of Babs and her latest crass faux pas on the other.
I was at least looking for someone to flip me a rude gesture, but that didn't happen.
At first I was mystified, then intrigued, then amazed.

I live near a major Air Force base, so I'm used to seeing a lot of pro-right-wing-cabal stickers. Now I'm almost shocked when I see a "Viva Bush" sticker. They're becoming as rare as hens' teeth.

They were disappearing at a rapid rate through July/August...I expect they'll be nearly extinct now.
Conversely, Kerry/Edwards and Anti-W stickers are more prevalent now.

25. I saw one with Florida tags in Madison outside an Ace hardware store |
|
This happened tonight.
The car was getting a ticket for illegally parking in the front door entrance. I was getting some nails and the only guy in there was looking for some plumbing supplies that he was returning due to mismeasuring what was needed.
I laughed out loud when I watched him scream at his windshield that had the new ticket on it when he left.
What a fucking loser. Even the old crotchety cashier smelled a rat.
