3. Rosebud, I agree that they need to make a serious and concerted

effort to identify the dead, but we all need to keep in mind the magnitude of the problem, and accept that only a fraction will be identified in the end. There are undoubtedly many, many more remains; those remains are already degraded by water, heat, and time; and the means of identifying them is perhaps irretrievably lost. I'm not saying it's impossible -- but it is going to be much more difficult than the task of identifying the dead from 9-11, and they only managed to identify 58% of those remains.

All that said, again, I agree -- the government must give as serious attention to this tragedy as they did to 9-11.

Forensic protocol for floaters and the decomposed is for the skin to be removed from the fingertips, rolled and printed.

I'm with you on the need for the government to give as much effort to this as they gave to 9-11 -- but I'm very doubtful that they will, and not optimistic about the success rate if they do.
I have a very sinking suspicion that we're going to see things in the next few days that are going to sicken the most hardened heart.

Emmett Tills did not get an autopsy and was recently exhumed. No autopsy is part of the coverup. They will try to hide how many they killed. Someone in a position of authority must demand autopsies to dtermine cause of death.

One look at Emmett Tills remains and you may have said, no autopsy needed. Wrong.

They were trying to identify bits of human beings who were blown up. Granted there are probably far more in the Katrina disaster than 9/11, but I would guess the bodies are more or less intact.
