Need help accessing Louisiana Office of Homeland Security and Emergency
Preparedness site. I anticipate that there may be some info of interest to DUers there, but either the site is buggy, or my ancient computer is the reason I can't access what I want. The addresss is:
http://www.ohsep.louisiana.gov/evacinfo/stateevacrtes.htm

I am trying to download the pdf that is part-way down the page, the link just under where it says, "New Orleans contraflow maps, hurricane and evacuation related information."

I'm thinking there may be some answers, not just on this page but on this site in general, to some of the questions of responsibility that everyone is raising. My computer though, is so slow, that it would take hours to ferret out what another DUer could probably find in minutes.

Anyone willing to take a look and let us know?

2. I'm not sure what a "webarchive doc" is...there is a link there to
download a Adobe Acrobat pdf file. Did you try that? Could you get into any other areas of the site?

3. Yes, I've got front and back, and can get into other areas.
I'll try to e-mail you the pdfs. Pls let me know what other areas you'd like to see.

4. I've been searching for info on the fed/state/local responsibilities.
Don't know if it will be on there or not. I've tried to follow some of the links (has taken most of the evening), but haven't found much. I think some of the NO links may be dead because their servers must be under water too.

I did find info that said that an emergency response was a team effort with all the agencies participating together. So different from the Repub/Admin attempt to cast blame on the local folks...
