DNC: Can they use funds to run ads documenting Bush's inaction? |
|
Many of us have received dozens of those sickening letters requesting money for the 2006 dem campaigns from the DNC.
How about if we use some of that money NOW and ran ads using videos, photos, quotes, etc. documenting Bushco's indifference and lack of response. We can go straight for people's heart and anger, and hopefully put increased pressure on Bush and congress to act. This would certainly be a better use of those millions they raise instead of running those tired ads during campaigns.
Don't know if this would violate fed election laws. But these are not ordinary times. We need acts of active, powerful civil disobedience TODAY so we can make a difference in people's lives NOW.

1. Sounds like more of a job for Move On.org |

I'll bet they'd do a great job putting together an ad that shows the shrub admin for what they are... Speaking of ads, I've been seeing a bunch of them for Halliburton! Warm and fuzzy about all the wonderful things the company does and then people saying "I'm proud to work for Halliburton". ICK!

Why can't our "leadership" call a fucking spade a spade? Why should anyone believe that we can do better in these crisis situations if those in our leadership won't fucking say it themselves?

Bush was doing at that time- maybe split screen. That's an ad I'd like to see.
