"If you don't want blame game, quit blaming local officials"...Dean NPR
About a 4 minute interview with Dean on NPR today. He is even more outspoken.

http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=4839291&ft=1&f=11

News & Notes with Ed Gordon, September 9, 2005 · Howard Dean, chairman of the Democratic National Committee, talks about the controversial comments he made earlier this week about race and Hurricane Katrina aid efforts. The former governor of Vermont told members of the National Baptist Convention on Wednesday that "skin color, age and economics played a deadly role in who survived and who did not."

Also Ben at White Rose has another great interview archived from the Jay Marvin show today. Dean must have been all over the airwaves today.
Thanks Ben.

You need to choose the Jay Marvin show and scroll down. I have only heard part, but Marvin has said it was so powerful he will air it again tomorrow.

1. Randi Rhodes said...
that the Bushies didn't actually mind playing the blame game, they just don't want to be 'it'.

3. Love it, been saying we need to say this for days!
Jon Stewart said it first--those who don't like the blame game are usually the ones who can be blamed.

4. And that is very true.
I have watched Republican strategists on TV huff and puff about playing the blame game, but then they go straight on to blame locals.
