Anyone see Robert Reich at the hearings? |
|
He was one of the people who spoke at the end, after the questioning. He simply and eloquently stuck to his theme...that the poor in this country have no one standing up for them. He also got to rank on Arlen Spector! Spector said he still had questions for him from when he was Clinton's pick for Health and Human Services...said Recih, "Er, I was Labor Secretary!" He also made a short person joke that no one picked up on. But most exciting of all, my daughter is in his class ("Wealth and Poverty"...what else?) at Brandeis...she said that it's really wild. She was part of a group that had lunch with him a few days ago...cannot wait to hear about it.

I missed him at the hearings, but I'm sure it was as well thought out and put together and his stuff always is...

No, your not mean for asking questions. If anybody is offended, get over yourself.

5. Didn't Reich and Clinton have a "falling out"? |
|
I know that they've been friends since Oxford, but I seem to remember hearing the Reich was disappointed with the way the Clinton administration focused more on deficit reduction than job training and vocational education?

6. Reich ran for governor here in Massachusetts ... |
|
Democrats didn't want him ... they opted for the visionary genius of Shannon O'Brien ... now we have Governor Mitt Romney ...
how pathetic is that?

7. I know...I'm from Maryland, but I still contributed to his campaign... |
|
I still can't figure out why Reich was more popular...of course I'm sure that those of you who live in Massachusetts are still wondering how we elected Bob Ehrlich as our governor!!!
