How long before Tony Poodle pulls Brit troops out of Eyerack?
I am thinking the debacle in Basra yesterday willcompletely undercut what little support was left in Britain for the clusterfuck that is Iraq.

1. He doesn't care about the public's level of support...
..or lack thereof, the only way to get the troops home is to de-throne the Poodle and get a person with a brain and a conscience in there to tell Lt AWOL to fuck off, and bring the Tommies home...

4. It is the same for Brits as it is for us.....
Only a change in leadership will bring our men and women home from that God forsaken place. They are all partners in this shamble and are making tons of money on it, and they are not about to give it up.

5. The difference is the Brits have a mechanism for getting Tony out.
The Labor Party can sack him as leader or force him to call a new election by supporting a no confidence vote. Does anyone think the Pubbies don't wish they had some way like that to get rid of the dim son?

9. Not necessarily....
but we will do what we can.

He is going to resign anyway, but it would be good if it were sooner rather than later (2007 probably). Quite apart from anything else, we need to let Gordon Brown (the likely successor) have a good run before the next General Election.

It will be an interesting conference, especially in the light of this week's news.
