Are candidates allowed to take international donations? |
|
I'm constantly reading anti-Bush articles from UK papers, Australian papers, etc. So many people in other countries hate Bush and want him out of office so bad. Another 4 years of Bush does not only affect Americans.
So, my question is... are people from other countries allowed to donate to a candidate's campaign?
If so, I hope that whoever our candidate ends up being puts a big sticky on his website saying "send me $20 through PayPal to help get Bush out!"

MoveOn has had to return bundles of overseas contributions. They are not allowed to accept them.
