I miss Ron Brown. We need someone like him in 2008 real bad |
|
to run the campaign. What a tragegy when we lost this good man in that plane accident in Bosnia.
Whenever I heard Ron Brown talk strategy during and right after Clinton's first win, I said to myself it's because of this guy, Brown, that we ran such a wonderful campaign back then. Man he was good. Rove wouldn't stand a chance against him if he were still alive.

4. Dean is no Brown...sorry |
|
I like Howard Dean, but Brown was unflappable, cool, calm and collected. He was also a very excellent manager and strategist. Dean is good, but he's no Brown.

5. True that they are different people, but |
|
Dean is untested. Wait until next year for important results.

3. Excellent point ...... who do we have now? |
|
Who are our best campaign strategists? Cuz we're sure as hell gunna need 'em in 08.
Of course, the ever present problem is internal partisanism. Look at the late-race internal shitstorm Kerry's campaign hadda deal with. Look at the affect using the lower tier folks had on Clark's late start campaign. Even the Dean Machine ran outta steam too early.
Who do we have in the 'rising star' category?
