Question for radio listeners this morning re: supreme court nominee |
|
At 5:30 this morning I was listening to a radio station at the gym here in Dallas who said they had it from an "insider" source that Harriet would be picked today.
They went on to note that she didn't have any experience with the Supreme court but promptly stated this was alright. All of a sudden I found myself in a social studies lesson with these august scholars of the court naming every supreme court justice in the history of the supreme court who was similarly unqualified for the position.
I didn't think anything of it, until later on the way to work, I heard nearly the same speech verbatim on another Clear Channel radio station.
Hmmmmmm - anyone else in other metro areas? It was clearly a paid slot on both stations pretending to be casual banter. Just curious how widespread this horseshit was across the nation this morning.

2. It was an FM station playing some kind of grunge rock |
|
didn't catch the call letters - but a lot of talk, then a song, then 10 minutes of talk, another song all old-school grunge rock.
the other one was 106.1, I think. Sounded like the idiot crew on that station.
I don't usually listen to the radio except by accident, so sorry for the brain dead answer.
