Will Brown's failure (FEMA) hurt the Miers nomination?
FEMA's woeful response to Katrina has brought the light of day onto Bush's excessive cronyism. Could the Dems argue that not only does Bush want cronies to serve in his Administration, but to serve for decades after? Just a thought. To be honest, this nomination doesn't seem to be the worst he could have made, at least on the surface. However, the story is still young and folks need to investigate this woman and make sure there are no skeletons in the closet.

1. On a side note,
Right-wingers seem to be hating this pick (at least the ones on the web). If their panties are in a bunch then maybe this isn't so bad... we'll see.
