Tin Foil Hat Time ...... Meirs has a way not to answer ?s in her hearings
:tinfoilhat:

Any questions about her work for the past 12 years she can just claim
lawyer client confidentiality.

Any bets as if that was not part of the White House plans.

BTW right wing bitching about her is just a trojan horse ...
"Oh look the righties don't like her .... so then the dems feel good
about her." Pure cover.

she worked for * & Rove .... she is a made man in the Texas Mafia.

1. Not so much...
Attorney-client privilege doesn't apply to White House counsel. The President isn't the client.

3. But was she not counsel to bush as gov. of Tex ASS?
And just because "they" dumped the privilege for Clinton does not
mean "they" will not invoke it for Meirs.

4. The SC would have to overturn their previous ruling
I don't see that happening anytime soon.

5. I have a different take..
she is a sacrificial lamb, she agrees to be put up to be shot down. This makes the liberal Dem's happy..."yeah, we won one..." but then the other shoe drops and it is some real wacko or even worse 'Torture Boy' Alberto.. And the Dem's will take another hit because you can't possibly shoot down 2 nominees in a row.
