Condi and Bolton to testify at SFRComm next week
Edited on Tue Oct-11-05 10:08 AM by TayTay
Bolton will testify on Tuesday, Oct 18th about UN Reform. (One hopes his keepers with the tasers are within reach in case he gets frisky.)

Condiliar will testify on US Foreign Policy in Iraq on Wednesday, Oct 19th. This should be interesting. The vote on adopting the Constitution in Iraq is this weekend, so Condi should have a fresh batch of lies to peddle as to how this vote was the greatest thing since, well, the last vote.

Dems on Senate Foreign Relations Committee: Biden, Sarbanes, Dodd, Kerry, Feingold, Boxer, Nelson (FL) and Obama. Could be interesting.

1. Tuesday as in today, or a week from today?
Condiliar - I like that! I hope they get Bolton all edgy and upset, and he takes off his shoe and tries to attack someone with it.

3. Ooh goodie, two of Kerry's FAVORITE people
I hope he has them for lunch.

Except the helmet hair and Yosemite Sam moustache would give him hairballs.

4. But can they extract Coleman's lips from Bolton's butt
before Bolton sits down to talk about UN Reform. And what's up with Bolton stopping the UN from talking about the situation in Darfur? What an ass.

And I dare say that Sens. Biden, Dodd, Kerry, Feingold and Boxer will be just delighted to tee off on Condi and the Admin handling of Iraq. They will all have to get in line.

This could be really good.

5. Tasers within reach
Kinda of reminded me of that horrifying scene in Jurassic Park where the handler gets dragged into the raptor cage and no amount of tasing spares him from a grissly end.

Not sure tasers are enough to subdue Bolton.

6. I agree. And Bolton is pretty close to a raptor, actually.
He does eat those weaker than him. (Yuck! The SFRC will have to be fumigated again after he testifies.)

Nice story about Bolton the bastard in NYTimes today:

Bolton Blocks a Briefing on Sudan

By REUTERS
Published: October 11, 2005
UNITED NATIONS, Oct. 10 (Reuters) - John Bolton, the American ambassador to the United Nations, blocked a United Nations envoy on Monday from briefing the Security Council on rights violations in the Darfur region of Sudan, saying the Council had to act against atrocities and not just talk about them.

Mr. Bolton, joined by the representatives of China, Algeria and Russia, prevented Juan Mendez, a special adviser to Secretary General Kofi Annan for the prevention of genocide, from briefing the Council on his visit to Darfur, despite pleas from Mr. Annan and the 11 other Council members.
