or wait until the treason trial of bush and dick-head is over?

SC tries the president in a case like this....

Treason is tried in a federal district court just like all other federal crimes.

3. Yes, she can un-retire
and no, the Supreme Court doesn't hear criminal trials.

The Chief Justice presides in the Senate over an impeachment trial, however, but he or she doesn't cast a vote.

5. Actually she cannot un-retire and stop the nomination process
She has resigned pending the confirmation of a replacement. I'd suggest you look at her letter of resignation.

It is a legally binding document. Bush would have to decide to not accept her resignation and allow her to stay on the court at this point.

6. I disagree
If she changed her mind and said she isn't resigning, how would they force her out? The constitution doesn't provide for removing a Supreme Court justice, except for bad behavior, and the congress handles that.

8. She's already accepted another job
has chancellor of William & Mary College, so obviously she has no intention of retiring.

Besides she already promised to stay on the SC until another person has been approved. She's not going anywhere for a while.
