Baltimore: Gov. Ehrlich (R) has known about threat for 3-5 days |
|
Edited on Tue Oct-18-05 12:02 PM by displacedtexan
Local ABC News (Channel 2) reports.
Supposedly, materials to make bombs are coming in through the port.
MTA police guy says they're stopping trucks.
Gov (R) is going about his business.
Edited to add: Take Hanover St to avoid the tunnel delays. Hear that, terrorists? ABC just gave you your alternate route.
Too weird.

2. 3 to 5 days? Isn't this the same script they used in NY? |
|
You'd think they could get some new material by now.

5. No doubt materials suitable for bomb making move through the port |
|
This seems likely to be another true but purposefully misleading statement.
I think a real terrorist would simply buy stuff off the shelf here in the states.

7. Didn't Tom Clancy write about that already? |
|
Maybe "Sum of All Fears". One of those books had the bomb coming through Port of Baltimore.
Hmmmmm, he had a plane going into a building, too.

They somehow got a nuclear warhead inside a vending machine under the football stadium. And when the right button was pushed.... :nuke:

11. Hanover St makes the least amount of sense. |
|
It could work but you have to go THROUGH the city, through downtown.
And Erhlich is an asshole. No one likes him around here anymore.
