10. Defeatism.

There is precisely zero information that would lead a person to believe that there will be no indictments. Every nuance we have is screaming "big trouble" for the WH. Every smidgeon of info on Fitzgerald speaks loudly that he is an extremely competent and extremely non-political public servant.

The only possible reasons people have to keep screaming "There will be no indictments. There will be no indictments." is either trolling, or defeatism. Neither of them do any good.

12. Not defeatism. Fear.
Fear of getting one's hopes up...again...and getting them dashed...again.

19. Third reason,
to immunize themselves against despair. "Every nuance" may scream something and still be wrong. The fact is we know nothing, and neither do most of the commentators.

Me. I'm content to sit back and wait to see. If there are indictments, good enough. If there are not, well, we have to keep trying. Even if there are indictments, they won't reach to Cheney or Bush, IMO. But we'll see.

27. The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior...
liberalitch has a point. The evil sociopaths have always gotten away with their crimes.

The best criminals don't break the law, they make it.

4. You're freaking out! I'm in suspense AND going thru major DU
withdrawal since my Comcast connection has decided to act up. It's not resolving host names :( I can't get out from my house at all. At home I'm relegated to TV news - UGH!!! I haven't gotten my news from TV since the day after the 2004 election - which is when I started reading DU. Hubby has a call into Comcast. When we go home tonight, we're going to try a different modem (bought one at lunch).

This was NOT a good week to start a diet :(

I'm constantly getting off the computer and getting right back on it to check the latest breaking news. I pray to God that this bunch in charge of our country are exposed for what they are and they all will have to pay for their dirty deeds.

Not until tomorrow.

The Grand Jury meets on Wednesdays. Fitzgerald said he will make an announcement from DC. I am sure the people who will be indicted have been receiving notices since yesterday. Tomorrow is the beginning of the end.

I have had two days off and all I have done is glue myself to DU and the TV.

This is irritating and I have a ton of more productive things that I should have been doing! :(

13. I hope Fitz takes forever...
Because if we are going crazy wanting an answer, can you imagine what moron* and his room full of dopes are doing?

let them sweat. let them go crazy. let them worry. let them stress.

They have fucked over this nation and any good hearted souls that believes in real democracy for so long, it's time they sweat and stress out.

I hope he dribbles the info out, drop by excruciating drop. Watch as the neocons and the fundies heads explode not being able to take the pressure.

Now that is good TV.
