I'm hoping the Fitz GJ links to Cheney's Energy Task Farse.
I sure would like to see what really happened there. I hope once and for all oil leaves a bad taste in the mouth of the murican consumer.

1. Me, too. It all goes back to that, I think.
Of course, we know that the neocons have been hatching their plans, for more than a decade. But, in early 2001, members of the Energy Task Force probably discussed the rationale for invading Iraq. And Cheney knows he's dust, if it ever comes out.

5. Getting to the "why" of neo-con thinking...
Tonight on C-Span the Cato think tank had an interesting program on the book, "Wilson's War." It discusses the mindset of neo-cons -- that perpetual war in inevitable. Furthermore, this article helps explain the psychology that drives Scooter Libby, Cheney, and neo-cons, in general.

6. Awesome signature pic
2006 and 2008 have to be Years of the Environment-- we can't wait any longer to counter the wanton environmental rampaging of George W. Bush's presidency, which I suspect-- even with all his other failures-- will be soon by historians as his single gravest and most abominable blunder. One reason why I've been so positive about Al Gore (and, recently, about Mark Warner, who seems to be a strong environmentalist himself)-- we need to have someone who will truly be an advocate for environmental issues and do what Bill Clinton did in 2000, only starting much earlier in the Presidency.

As for Cheney-- I agree, Fitzgerald has us all on pins and needles here. With the scandals enveloping Karl Rove, Lewis Libby, Harriet Miers, Condi Rice and now the veep as well, it can't be too long before we hit the big fish. No need to even cite payback for 1998 in working to impeach Bush-- he's an incompetent, dangerous foul-up enough to warrant his impeachment on entirely independent grounds.

10. Thank you for the compliment.
That's one of the newest graphics in my cafepress store. And I agree with you, wholeheartedly. Before too long, global environmental issues will eclipse all other concerns. This is no time for greedy, shortsighted fools to be in charge.

7. Is it possible that the Saudis
had access during these meetings? Classified information that is characterized as NOFORN, or No Foreign Nationals.

My info may be incorrect, but I thought Randi had mentioned this at one time, awhile back.

Hmmmm....
