"We are witnessing the criminalization of conservative politics." |
|
A quote by Tom Delay from Josh Marshall at www.talkingpointsmemo.com
He makes a very good point.
Josh says: "Seems to me that sentence can be read more than one way.
Maybe Tom is finally seeing the light." =====================================================================
We are witnessing the criminalization of politics. They all seem to be turning into criminals.

"Politics", as practiced by Delay and his ilk, is indeed a criminal undertaking. Maybe once these thieves, charlatans, and bunko artists are slapped down, some semblance of integrity will return to the political scene.
Nah, I better drink this coffee & start thinking clearly. Sorry, forgive the ravings of a just awakened fool...

4. If I were Tom, I'd be careful about this |
|
He's asserting that this kind of "extreme hardball" behavior is a conservative philosophy that liberals wouldn't engage in. Can't see how that's good for his party.

In which the character Finester says, “…..they treat me like a criminal.”
To which Hockney replies, “You are a criminal.”

7. If you don't want "conservative politics" to be "criminalized", then |
|
conservatives should do the honorable thing and not act like criminals. And when they're caught, admit it and do your time, like you keep saying all criminals must do.
Simple.
