This video really proves that there was tampering in Ohio in 2004
This is old so many of you have probably seen it but I haven't and I'm sure there are people here that haven't either: The sad thing is, this is from 2004 and I guess nothing became of it?

Computer programmer Clinton Curtis testified at the December 13th, 2004 Congressional hearing in Columbus, Ohio naming Republican Congressman Tom Feeney as the person who hired him to prepare vote-rigging software.

The programmer claims that he designed and built a "vote rigging" software program at the behest of then Florida Congressman, now U.S. Congressman, Republican Tom Feeney of Florida's 24th Congressional District.

Curtis says that Feeney "was very specific in the design and specifications required for this program."

"He detailed, in his own words, that; (a) the program needed to be touch-screen capable (b) the user should be able to trigger the program without any additional equipment (c) the programming to accomplish this needed to stay hidden even if the source code was inspected."

Though there was no problem with the first two requirements, Curtis explained to the Congressman that it would be "virtually impossible to hide such code written to change the voting results if anyone is able to review the uncompiled source code"

Nonetheless, he was asked at the meeting by Mrs. Yang to build the prototype anyway.

2. This is a great video and I have seen it on DU at LEAST ten times.
And I will nominate it each time that I do see it.

HOWEVER...

You will see the Tommy Lee/Pam Anderson sex video on Saturday morning, during the kiddie cartoon shows before you EVER see this clip on the MSM.

Like Chris Rock said...

"You know how they tell you to never say never"?

I'm saying NEVER.

7. I figured many here had seen it. My jaw dropped wide open when I saw
it for the first time tonight. Do you know if anything ever became of it? ... I mean, I would consider this a smoking gun - how was this just able to be swept under the rug?

3. So what do you do with that pesky code?
Make it illegal to look at it.

Then, you got the trifecta.

8. Here's an example of how the program could have been used

9. WOW - So this was submitted to the EIRS and what was the conclusion?
This report is a little over my head but I tried very hard to follow it. Was this report done on ACTUAL data or POSSIBLE examples of data? It's a little confusing (to me, right now) but this also seems like there should have been major actions taken because of it.

12. The report was done using EIRS data
This is actual data. The EIRS system received reports from all over the country, of voter complaints on election day. This analysis was confined to reports of electronic vote switching.

I also did a later analysis which showed that, not only were there 12 times as many Bush favoring incidents as Kerry favoring incidents, but this problem occurred 9 times as frequently in swing states, compared to non-swing states.

I submitted the whole report to the Ohio Project, which put it up on their website. You can see it under "exit polls and statistical anomalies": http://fairnessbybeckerman.blogspot.com/2005/08/articles-and-commentary-on-2004.html

Now, we need to put this in perspective. While I think that these analyses that I did were highly suggestive of fraud (How else would you explain the fact that almost all the incidents favored Bush, and the concentration of the incidents in swing states?), we don't know how many votes they accounted for. Remember, in Ohio, the only county to use touch screens was Mahoning, and that couldn't possibly have accounted for enough votes to swing the election in Ohio. BUT, a similar program could have been used in central tabulators elsewhere in the state, and that fraud could have been accomplished without any visible evidence being presented to the voters. Anyhow, there are certainly a lot of people in DU that understand the computer aspects of this a lot better than I do.

If you have any specific questions about my study I would be happy to try to answer them.
