I wasn't quite understanding what the big deal is with this guy Alito. WJ did a good job of presenting all sides this a.m. IMHO.

It's true, we've been hijacked by the Fundies, and the abortion issue. I thought the first guy that was on did a good job of explaining how Alito went against decisions in all areas, and that Alito lives in bizarro world.

Now that everything is focused on the abortion issue (which I don't think would ever be "overturned" anyway), no one is paying attention to all the other horrifying things this guy's done.

Perkins is right in one aspect, courts do not make the laws, they only interpret them. Therefore, it is our duty, nay God-given obligation, to take back the Congress in 2006. That is the only way to stop the spread of evil, narrow-minded, Tali-bornagain ideoloques who are hijacking this country through bully-pulpit sloganeering, propagandizing, corporatizing and the destruction of everything I hold dear about the good ole USA.
I am so sick of conservatives, I pledge to do everything in my power, in my district, to get progressives elected to Congress next year, and take back the US.
