ACTING, PART II
In reading Karen's piece, something occurred to me -- I know a lot of Americans who despair for their democracy. They don't know what to do, or where to begin. What do we tell them?

I have also been thinking alot about Rosa Parks this week. Rosa Park sat down, and by doing so, gave others the courage to stand up. Surely, each of us can not only do that much, but find at least one other person and help them find their voice, and their courage to stand up, too.

My mind is so focused on the dreaded evening (tonight) when I get to have more Republicans tell me how wonderful their party is, that people should live in poverty becuase they're lazy, and that we're just a party of commies and socialists.

BUT...I will try to focus on HELPING us and saving our democracy.
