No... no, he didn't. He didn't need to... I made that up.

He used the rules of the Senate. He acted democratically.

Frist calls it an affront. Trent Lott agrees it's a stunt.

Oh, they are just SOOOO hurt and insulted.

This is far from over, right-wingers. The chickens are coming home to roost, and it will be roast chicken for dinner.

2. My understanding is theoretically they can do it every day!
Secret sessions ARE for issues of national security. GOPers are mad they didn't get told about it. Of course, the Democrats didn't tell them about it. They would have been stopped!

6. You are so right!
BushCo had 4 Aces ready to put on the table as soon as the indictments came out, to be sure the indictments were kept off the front page. But, today, Harry Reid put down out a royal flush, putting the indictment issue back on the front page.

No wonder why the Repugs are mad; they're out of cards! They already played that Alita card.

12. Now, that was way harsh.
Die of bird flu? Maybe just get so sick they wish they were dead. Now, that is misery. ;)

13. Sorry, but I can't escape the images
of the grieving military families.

I am reminded of an old Vietnam war era TV commercial. It said, "Next time we have a war, we're going to have the leaders slug it out." It showed two old men in expensive suits then going into a ring and starting to slug each other. You could hear them panting, just like old guys would do if they had to suddenly fight like young men.

It was awesome. I wish they'd bring it back.

I have NO COMPASSION for chickenhawks.
