my letter:

Senator Reid,

I am not one of your constituents, however I felt obligated to drop you a line today. I am writing to you as the leader of my party in the Senate.

I want to thank you for your decisive bold and brave move yesterday demanding that the truth be told on intelligence regarding the war. It is clear now that you "won the day" and that hasn't happened in a while for us.

Already today we hear the rhetoric from the Republicans and the personal attacks on you. Please show your bravery and mettle in this difficult time and withstand these attacks with the utmost professionalism, you have nothing to hide or apologize for.

Please continue to push for the truth to come out. The president's administration has much to answer and the rumors of much more hidden must be resolved. Please do not stop until all falsehoods are uncovered, all actions made on false pretenses revealed and if shown, those who perpretrated fraud on the American people exposed for their deeds and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Thank you for standing up for the few shreds of freedom left in this country. If there is ever anything I can do for you, please feel free to contact me.
