Woa! Two Dems knocked off incumbent Repubs for Tucson City Council...
Edited on Tue Nov-08-05 11:39 PM by Wetzelbill
Two women at that! One of them Nina Trasoff, I did some work for her about a year and a half ago when she ran for Arizona Corporation Commission. Wrote a policy paper for her. Wow, this really is a good night. Well, it's not official, but they are both winning big right now.

Reporting from Tucson, Arizona.

All 3 Democratic candidates for city council won!!! Trasoff was a Dean Dozen candidate last year and won against a 8-year incumbent. Uhlich won against an incumbent of about the same number of years. On average, the results were:

65% for the Democratic candidate
35% for the Republican candidate

By the way, Kansas just passed the ID doctrine so that means the Flying Spaghetti Monster intelligent design theory gets to be taught in Kansas!
All, hail, almighty FSM!!!"
