Minneapolis Mayor Rybak Taking a Dive (A Stage Dive) |
|
After winning reelection in a landslide, see Mayor Rybak do a little crowd surfing at his victory party: http://kstp.dayport.com/viewer/viewerpage.php?Art_ID=163830&NoAds=trueVideo may be a bit jerky over a dial up connection.

I don't recall ever seeing a politician do that before.

10. The only other one I can recall doing this was under odd circumstances |
|
In 2000 Michale Moore came to Iowa, got a bunch of Iowa State Students together, and went to the Des Moines HQs of candidates that were running for president that year. He said he would endorse a candidate who crowd surfed with the students. Some campaigns were hostile, one called the cops, and one actual agreed and did it.
That candidate was Alan Keyes. It was pretty bizarre to see the footage of him crowd surfing later on.

9. Actually, we used to do that a lot back in the day. |
|
Face first, back first, on your side -- it didn't matter. The punks were cool with anything.

7. I saw it on TV last night and it didn't surprise me one bit. |
|
That's exactly what I would expect from RT. In fact, I think I would have been a little disappointed if he hadn't crowd surfed. It's great that he won again! We need more progressives like him in politics.
