Did Tweety stifle himself tonight? |
|
I distinctly heard Tweety swallow a question he was about to ask. Did anyone else hear it? It was getting a little bit toooooo close to the truth about Bush. It seemed as if he started to say that even though he likes Bush, he was going to have to change his mind about that. Then he went into some mumbo-jumbo and asked another question.
When the transcript comes up, I'll post the bit. Just wondering if anyone else caught that.

I missed the first half of the show because I was on DU in another room, but I was listening. I didn't want to miss the whole show, so I went off line, and was watching the second half when I saw what you're talking about! Did you catch his last line of his show? I have never heard him do this before, but when he introduced Keith O's show coming up next he said " and I think I know what he's going to be talking about"!

3. Tweey DID stifle himself. He looked really depressed. |
|
Then when he heard about the likely probability of those shoulder launched rockets hitting domestic airlines he looked grim. It was like it was finally sinking in to Tweey that we have THREE MORE YEARS of this dangerous doofus in the whitehouse.
A few weeks ago, Wes Clark said that our country has become "a tragedy". Tweety seems to realize that....at least tonight he did.

4. Tweety is a canary in a coal mine |

He conveniently changes his tune when he realizes that the company mine's about to blow.

7. He probably realized that if he asked the question, Russert would |
|
be carrying tales to the bosses. "Look at what Tweety said. Look at what Tweety said."

8. Just as he did 6 months ago when it was revealed that Chalabi |
|
who was spying for Iran, in addition to lying for PNAC/Bushco, was now the 'Oil Minister' of Iraq. The canary did an involuntary jaw drop/roll eyes/double take to his guest -but then quickly recomposed himself and glossed over that outrageousness.

9. that must have been a great moment... |

...and too bad someone isn't keeping a clip archive of Tweety's epiphanies.
No transcript yet, btw.
